CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Southern Utah softball team played their first games at Kathryn Berg Field Wednesday afternoon, hosting the UMKC Kangaroos for a doubleheader. Despite big offensive performances from Kendall Kapitzke and Madison Tuft, the Thunderbirds dropped both games, 9-6 and 10-3.
