University Park, Pa. – Robert Morris University freshman pitcher Dana Vatakis held Penn State in check as the Colonials softball team split a doubleheader with the Nittany Lions (14-13) Wednesday evening at Beard Field. Behind the strong pitching of Vatakis, RMU (4-16) won game one, 4-1, before suffering an 11-0 loss in game two of the doubleheader.
