Home runs were the story of the opening game in Missouri Valley Conference play for Indiana State and Northern Iowa. Brooke Mann hit her 12th career home run but back-to-back home runs in the first followed by a three-run shot in the sixth prevented a dramatic come-from-behind win in a 6-3 loss to Northern Iowa.
