Cochrane spent the 2006 preseason with the Eagles after signing as a rookie free agent in April, 2006. He was released on August 26, 2006 and then re-signed to a three-year contract on April 16, 2007.

Led the Big Sky Conference in scoring as a senior in 2004, tallying 65 points in just 11 games. Made two game-winning FGs as a senior.
Appeared in 35 games during his four-year career, recording 82 pts. on 16 of 29 FGA. PERSONAL

Received 1st team all-area and all-metro honors at Pennsbury HS in Fairless Hills, PA.
Was a two-year letterman in soccer.

no offense, but if he can get a shot, I still believe Chris Snyder deserves one. He was with the lions for a preseason did fine but they still cut him(but when you have Jason Hanson in front of you its hard to get a job)

EJ Cochrane is a good kicker obviouslly but one of the main reasons he has signed with the eagles the previous two season's is because he is a left footed kicker. My understanding of the situation is that he has a very good kickoff that is good for preseason kickoff duties and that the eagles want a lefty in camp so the backup snappers and holders don't have to change their snaps and holds for akers who is also lefty. Congrats to EJ though and best of luck.
