There were some excellent linebackers in the Ancient Eight last year - enough that Yale’s Foyesade Oluokun ’17 was only a second-team All-Ivy League selection before getting drafted in the NFL’s sixth round and becoming a regular (39 tackles, 9 GP) on defense for the Atlanta Falcons. The St. Louis native, who used his fifth year of eligibility to help the Bulldogs win the 2017 Ivy title and finish with a No. 24 FCS ranking, is 14th on Yale’s career tackles list with 271. Sports Publicity Director Steve Conn sat down with the NFL rookie to discuss his career and ascension to the pro ranks.
