Staten Island, N.Y. – Senior Sam Buck won the weight throw at the 2019 Northeast Conference Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships to help the Robert Morris University track and field team into third place after the first day of action at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island. Four events – weight throw, long jump, high jump and the 3000 meter run – final placements were decided while a myriad of preliminary races took place on Friday.
