BROOKINGS, S.D. - In only her third 3,000-meter race of her college career, junior Madison Overby broke the North Dakota record in the 3,000-meter run Friday night, breaking the record set by UND Hall of Famer Steph Breuning in 1993 in the first day of the SDSU Indoor Classic. Overby clocked a time of 9:42.85, shattering her personal-best by over 20 seconds.
