clawman, can you bring your post(s) over as a recreation? Some are having trouble opening up the other thread for some reason. That includes me. Don't know what you put in there as of yet but if there are links to other stuff etc. I'd leave those out because something is giving an error. I'm looking into it but as a workaround please put the effort on this one if you could.

I copied the FCS Players’ info lines (name, ht, wt, school, etc) from the Pats & the Rams online rosters & answered clawman’s “how many?” question.
It’s 10 - 6 for the Pats & 4 for the Rams, with the Rams also having 4 other non-FBS Players.
When I submitted, it took a LONG time to resolve & I couldn’t get back in to fix/delete it either. I tried to send a PM to you, ursus, but when that took forever to resolve, I just “X’d” out of that and figured it was best to leave it be. No idea what happened. I copy lines from rosters in here all the time & never had a similar issue.
I’m sorry for my part in this, but I blame Roger Goodell, NFL Referees, and Tom Brady for the problem. They are the real villains! :)

Yeah, I gotta go delete that thread cuz it is not going to work. I don't think we should do things like that (copy a page) from someone else's work. I think we should treat that stuff as we do articles. You can post a little bit like maybe take the names only and then put them on a text doc to get rid of any formatting, especially if their name is a hyperlink.
Copy that text off of the text doc and place it on here then support that data with a link back to where you got it from as long as it a legit source. I hope that helps out a little bit with what can or should be done in the future but I am glad you are bringing that information here for us just so you know that part as well. It is appreciated.xthumbsupx

Just so you know for diagnostics - I didn’t copy the whole page...only the individual lines of text from the roster list that were associated with each FCS Player...so 10 different lines of text from 2 different websites/pages. The Players’ names were hyperlinked, but the other 7 text columns (#, Pos, Ht, Wt, Age, Exp, College) were not. I’ve done the same many times here (including with hyperlinked names) from colleges and recruiting site rosters/lists, but never had it ‘freeze up’ like this. Maybe it’s an NFL website ‘protection’ thing - both sites are almost identical.
Sorry again for the trouble

Eh, no big deal man and with what you said it is pretty odd so you probably nailed it there at the end.
