BUFFALO, N.Y.-- Canisius College took advantage of a slow UND start and cashed in two goals in the third period en route to its first-ever win over North Dakota, 3-1, Friday evening in non-conference play at HARBORCENTER. UND freshman Mark Senden's short-handed goal in the second period tied the score at 1-1, but the Golden Griffins were able to push back ahead early in the third and withstood a UND pushback to hang on.
