The Columbia women's basketball team overcame a rusty first half to take the lead in the final minutes of Saturday afternoon's contest against Albany. However, the Great Danes did enough down the stretch to close out the calendar year with win, holding off the Lions, 62-58, at Levien Gymnasium.
