Texas State vs. Sam Houston baseball series...

Now, I know Terror and others like to trash Texas State all the time, but the BOBCATS outscored Terror's bearkitties 17-2 in a three game baseball series this past Thursday and Friday.

Game 1: 12-0 Texas State (run rule) xeekx

Game 3: 5-1 Texas State :D

...just thought you guys would like to know that despite all the trash Terror might spew about my school, we don't suck at everything.:)

The folks in San Marcos have had SHSU's number in baseball (let's hope that changes -- thank gawd we won one out of three!) the last few years and have had our number in other sports (softball used to be one of them, football is in the 'Cats favor now and of course, womens' basketball)...

Of course, you fellas have given us problems in mens' basketball when we were good or bad...this year, we'll look to turn things around in the football, the womens' basketball (come on Brenda Welch-Nichols) and baseball...

Saw one postseason prognostication that had both the 'Cats and UTSA in the NCAA field of 64...

I'd love to think we have a chance at getting two SLC teams into the NCAAs...

The Kats actually have a winning record in the SLC. When was the last time that happened? The Kats haven't made the SLC tournament since 2000. That's pretty bad for a program that was once our flagship and has some national success (atleast, back when) in it's record book...

May have fallen to the 'Cats, but there's been years in recent memory where even winning one of three against you folks would've tickled the Bearkat Nation to death...

ok that makes sense. the kats are much better this season in baseball. i expected a split series actually. hopefully yall will continue to improve and make the slc more competitive and boost the RPI.
