Horrible list, Campbell ahead of NDSU? Outside of Montana at 1 the rest is a joke.

Anyone want to start our own FCS Top 10 Stadiums poll or something? Do it like the official AGS poll, have everyone submit ballots of what they think the top 10 stadiums are (probably don't want to do any more than that since most people haven't been to that many FCS stadium), then compile the data. I think it's probably a given that Wa-Griz and the Fargodome will be right at the top, probably 1 and 2, maybe with Bridgeforth around #3-4, but I'd be interested to see what the consensus of #4-#10 would be.

It was torn down. In 2017. Still waiting on that replacement.

We would have to classify and settle the whole #NotAStadium debate.

In this instance, I would consider the field/location where any FCS team plays the majority of it's "home games", regardless of whether it's a barn, mall, giant shed, or three rows of thin metal bleachers on one side.

#4 isn’t a stadium and wouldn’t qualify for top high school field in VA.

Doesn’t need to be settled. If you have a track it isn’t a stadium. #FACT

Does this mean NDSU gets to claim ISUb, WIU, Missery State, and the Dakota Dump due to our fanbase bringing more than the away fans? xlolx

You would need to clarify if we're ranking the facility itself or the experience as a whole. NDSU would be at the top for a stadium experience list, but on a straight facility list they shouldn't be anywhere near the top.

Alas like all of the things the verminite above posts about The Citadel this is untrue. Temporary stands are on the visitors side now. Field turf is being installed and fundraising for the new visitors side is underway. If vermin was building anything for its football program hundreds would know about it since that is about what the former purple hurricanes draw to a home game...

Is better than a whole paladin "stadium". Perhaps a move back to Si Reen, as the UpState clayeaters say, Stadium would get your average attendance up...

Yep the list was pretty bad. I don't remember many positive comments originally. The bloggers did consider atmosphere, food, driving distance and/or proximity to major areas (ease of getting to), etc.. besides the actual structure. Still, many of their decisions boggled my mind. Some of those bad stadiums must have had some killer food and atmosphere.......

How does this look any different? You sure you aren't just flushing that $27M down the ****ter into the Missouri River?

Maybe 5-ish years ago? Maybe associated with the whole #notastadium discussion? Maybe I'm off base if no one else remembers it, though. It might have started with another one of these published lists (though if I recall, it was a little better list than this one).

As I pointed out in anther thread that mentioned this, it is a based on fan input and not any objective or impartial subjective input. We were 109 and besides having our visitors side gone currently, our home side facilities, pageantry, game day atmosphere, etc, blows away most other locations.
This list is seriously not worth the electrons that created it.
