Came in at the very end of the 1st quarter. Overall the defense has been good, but I'm worried they're going to be on the field too much. Offense struggling though. To me, it looks like JMU is consistently getting men off the edge, which doesn't allow any pass plays to develop. Holland and Breneman are good runners, but they need a 2nd dimension.

Not going to be upset, though, at a 1-score game. Raiders get the ball to start the 2nd half, a big opportunity

I just know we are running into a buzzsaw against NDSU. As long as ECU announces Mike Houston as their head coach after this game and we can start are search immediately, yes I rather win. But if its contingent upon waiting to be announced until after we are out of the playoffs, no thank you. Our recruiting class going forward is important to me and as it stands, with the early signing period coming up, we will likely lose a lot of recruits, no matter what. The fact that we recruit heavily against ECU, I see a lot flipping to ECU.

Purchased the Forum early Sunday (actually went back out of security from gate to get it as the stand hadnt even opened when I checked for my early morning nonstopper back to ORD and spent 2 minutes reentering thru security!!) so I could see my name first and only time in a sports section front page as I was interviewed by a Forum reporter at game!

If fans had one big gripe about Coach Houston, it was related to his clock management abilities. He seemed to always have TOs left in his pocket going into halftime or he waited too late to start using them. Magnified in close games -- probably his weakest skill, though I've seen enough NFL and FBS coaches screw the time management pooch. Paging Les Miles!

It was definitely disappointing how the season ended and all the hoopla around Coach Houston and his JOB SEARCH however that leaked but that's a done deal and time for us to move on. I'm sure JMU will get a good coach and hopefully we can keep the incoming class that has verbally committed to JMU.
