All seven teams closed out the regular season schedule in Week 12. Duquesne and Sacred Heart both won Northeast Conference contests to finish in a first-place tie atop the league standings. The former earned the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division I FCS Playoffs by virtue of its head-to-head victory over SHU in Week 11. Wagner ended its 2018 schedule with a second straight NEC victory while Bryant out-lasted MEAC member Howard in an offensive shootout in Washington.
