Very very very new to this message board. That being said what the hell do some of these NDSU posters have against UIW? This is a program in its 10th year of existence and have had one of the best turnaround stories in all of college football. Do you blame our AD for taking the Iowa State game for an extra $300K? That goes a long way with a newish program. Some say we are undeserving at 6 wins. Well we didn’t get to play Houston Baptist who didn’t win 1 conference game this year. Just find it annoying that some want to bully UIW. We will be ready to play on Saturday. It sucks our Southland Conference Freshman of the Year wont be behind center but hey that’s football. A very exciting time to be a UIW Cardinal. I also can’t wait until we kick UTSA’s ass next year at the Alamodome.

16 pt spread even without accounting for Copeland being out xeyebrowx I hope everyone's predictions are right. It would be even gravier gravy on the season to get a blowout win in the playoffs before a beatdown by the Bison. I was hoping for a winning record and a Brawl victory this year. A playoff berth was nice, a win would be better and a large margin would be about the pinnacle for my expectations this year.

Hate is a strong word....that’s not true. Personally I like watching this level of football. Some fans get bent out of shape when we don’t share their same opinion of how good their team is.

i already agree, the biggest turn around may be uiw, so their coach deserves some recognition. However, with their starting qb out, I don’t see them beating the kitties. I wish them the best of luck though.

I've mentioned a few times that this season the playoff smack should be taken down quite a bit. I will mention it again.

If you feel a need to be a dick to everyone that ain't your team then by all means jump on the smack board bit over the last few seasons these game threads have been pure **** and it is a very few of you that keep turning them into that.

Drop the tough guy **** and have a 1/2 way decent conversation in these game/matchup threads. This ain't no time of year to have the FCS board suddenly disappear on you so make an effort to remain a member of it.

As for the game. This is one I'm looking forward to for sure. I think UIW is going to challenge MSU pretty good and don't see why they couldn't win it since they do have a good passing game and also can run the ball pretty well.

I think Troy Anderson and MSU's D line are the keys in this one but glad to see some new blood in the playoffs and looking forward to the performance.

For instance being a Montana fan and being pretty f'n good to lots of NDSU guys and them returning the favor personally to see some trashing my team for no reason just to be an asshole makes me question why they feel the need to do this crap out of nowhere.

There is a world of difference between saying something truthful and just being an asshole about it. So let's not act like that isn't also what is happening.

After watching CC handle Montana that year when it was like 4 degrees I no longer prescribe to the weather notion. If Copeland was playing I think this would be a tight one but know nothing about that backup.
I am interested to see if UIW can handle the QB run stuff as the game goes on. Can be really tough on poor/average run defenses.

Usually the team not use to the weather dresses appropriate and the other tries to look tough and just ends up being cold and miserable.

Yep, if weather is gonna affect a team it is only short lived in the beginning of the game usually and it is only a narrow window that the home team has a chance to make that a factor. If the home team takes advantage then and only then will the weather seem to be a problem because the home team is up and rolling at that point which is really what would have happened anyway even in 60 degree weather.

It's fun to crack jokes about, it does not mean jack squat though.

I don't know dude, I'm still wearing shorts and a t shirt if I'm working outside right now with a sweatshirt a little bit here and there. It just still feels comfortable so I don't think that happens too much when those big boys are out there running and pushing against each too much. If it's 20 below then I'd agree with you though.

I agree that the outcome will likley be on how well they handle Anderson.
I usually don't buy into the weather much, But this will be the 4th game for MSU under 35F, Its a small factor if any at all, Now if it snows it might be a bigger factor, more because of the offensive styles than anything else. UIW arrived in Bozeman yesterday and practiced in Livingston this AM

This reminds me of our first PO game against Robert Morris in 2010. I don't think any Bison fans knew what to expect and had few expectations of doing much but they made a run to the quarters and it was exciting and lit a fire in the fan base that has yet to be extinguished. Hope this generates more excitement and fan support for UIW!

Both convertibles and both pieces of ****.My best friend owned a Sebring convertible and drove it (and babied it big time) until we were about 30 (so we are talking like 2010+).
