There's a surprising amount of Rocky connections on here! My dad is a Rocky alum, so I've been glad to see them back in the playoffs as well.

Dickinson State usually gets thrashed by teams outside of North Dakota, so I don't see them doing anything. Had Rocky not slipped up in their season finale, they might have been able to host DSU in the first round. Instead, they play the #1 team. I guess you have to beat them all to win it all, anyways.

Their entire defense is back from last year. Their offense, which was pretty weak last year, has improved. They avenged a regular season loss to Colorado Mines on Saturday. I'm looking for another really tough game out of them. We can't be predictable and expect to win this game even if it is at home.

Talked with one coach and they are excited to go to their bowl game in Missouri. 8-3 for them must be their best record in decades. Said they are not fully funded yet but hope to be soon.

Exactly. From what I was told at our Touchdown Club executive meeting, Winona is already at 36 (full), Moorhead will be, we are going up to 30 with the hope of reaching 36. Augie- should be unless they drop scholarships or football altogether. St Cloud has been dropping scholarships- the coach is doing it with smoke and mirrors. Too much of their money goes to hockey.

The Lancers will play in the old home stadium of Yankton College, which closed in 1984 and its campus was converted into a minimum security federal prison.
