Seems silly to rank balance just for balance's sake.

Butler has the 90th rated defense and the 91st rated offense. That's pretty balanced.

Grambling's Defense allows 390 ypg while their offense gains 390.1 ypg. That's REALLY balanced!

Maybe the title should read: "The Most Balanced Teams of highly ranked Offenses And highly ranked Defenses"

Somebody needs to start a thread about the teams with the best defenses with no offense. Then we can discuss McNeese. ;)

Wofford is in the top 10 in scoring defense but only like 34th in scoring offense. But we're 9th in total defense and 16th in total offense.

SIU is kinda the reverse of that: 28th in Total Offense (2nd in the MVFC) but 96th in Total Defense (9th in the MVFC)

That's normal. Western Carolina and Mercer are comparable.

SIU is kind of odd because if you look at MVFC stats for conference games only, they are 9th out of 10 in total offense. They did a lot of damage in their non-conference games and then hit a brick wall once conference play started.

I was being totally serious. When you look just at total defense/ total offense, McNeese is 30/104.
