Season-Ending Injuries

Is is just me or are there more season-ending and season-altering injuries than ever before? Elon, NCAT, and now EWU are victims to this terrible run of injures, and I'm sure there are more I'm missing.

Yale, Harvard, and Columbia have all lost guys who were regarded as league-MVP candidates at the beginning of the season.

Princeton and Dartmouth have been essentially injury-free.

Guess which two teams are running away with the Ivy?

One of our best LBs Tore his ACL and is somehow back to playing 2 weeks later.

Wallace was injured on turf in our homecoming game. They said it was similar to Bo Jackson’s injury.

Don’t even get me started on out O-Line, no season ending ones, but still missing a few.

Our starting left tackle is out for the year with a back injury suffered in week 2. Our best young DL tore an ACL against San Houston which greatly altered our 3rd down and long defense.

Coach Brown said Kirk tore his labrum. I've had that surgery. Not a fun recovery.

I injured mine originally in 1997. Couldn't throw a ball until I had it repaired in 2013.

I’m starting to think as these turf fields get older, if the maintenance isn’t excellent, we could begin to see a rash of ligament injuries.

Lehigh lost two starting OL in camp before the season ever started. Probably had some impact on the ineffective offense. Not as many holes for Bragalone and Mayes sacked and hurried frequently. However, the mark of a good team is having depth to step up. 'nuf said.

It sure does seem like we're seeing more. NAU and Sac have been decimated. In the game against Weber, Eastern was down to the 4th and 5th sting OT's, Gubrud was out, Kettner Kupp and all conference safety Mitch Fettig were limited as was the other other starting safety, Tyson Prunty, and Sam McPherson who was the 5th leading rusher in FCS at the time.
