South Dakota @ Indiana State (-1.5) - Even without Keys ISUb's run game is enough to get past the defensively deficient Coyotes.

Illinois State @ Northern Iowa (-6.5) - I just think Illinois St has been the more efficient team on both sides of the ball so far this year and it'll show on Saturday.

Western Illinois (-6) @ Southern Illinois - I think this will be a fairly close game but WIU is able to cover... barely.

Missouri State @ South Dakota State (-23) - MSU has a bad defense and a sputtering offense right now... that translates into a bad matchup with SDSU.

Youngstown State @ North Dakota State (-35) - I think Klieman goes a bit conservative in this one and the Bison win comfortably but don't cover.

South Dakota @ Indiana State (-1.5) .. USD struggling, ISUb without stud RB should catch up to them at some point .. not this week.

Illinois State @ Northern Iowa (-6.5) .. not feeling great about my Redbirds in this one. Word is QB Davis may not play, so Kolbe is getting 1st team reps all week. Will this help our pass attack enough to keep UNI from stacking the box for our run game ... who knows. Putting on my fan hat for this pick.

Western Illinois (-6) @ Southern Illinois .. WIU is picking up steam .. defense is getting more impressice each week. Run game still lagging pass game .. SIU may be cure for that.

Missouri State @ South Dakota State (-23) .. got to go with favorite

Youngstown State @ North Dakota State (-35) .. uh ... nuff said.

South Dakota @ Indiana State (-1.5) .. picked them to win, so covering -1.5 is obvious pick

Illinois State @ Northern Iowa (-6.5) .. my fan hat is wearing a bit snug, but going with it. Keep an eye on QB starter .. Davis or Kolbe. Davis has big arm, but had been struggling with accuracy since a pretty good OOC start.

Western Illinois (-6) @ Southern Illinois .. seems like no brainer cover, these teams going in opposite directions.

Missouri State @ South Dakota State (-23) .. tough spread, though MoST did inexplicably lose to SIU at home last week. How could they not run on SIU defense ?? They will have no chance against SDSU front 7.

Youngstown State @ North Dakota State (-35) .. tough spread, but YSU morale has to have hit bottom after losing to badly to ISUb without their stud RB.

12 pickers were perfect this week in the straight up picks, one of which was our leader mango433, which kinda made up for the terrible weeks most had last week. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) we had a no-show this week with our former leader in the spread picks (Derby City Duke) which opened things up for the rest of us and our new co-leaders mango433 and REALBird.
