CCSU's Aaron Dawson sets record with 308 rushing yards in a half
NEW BRITAIN, Conn. -- Aaron Dawson (http://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/4251830/aaron-dawson) rushed for 361 yards -- including a Division I record 308 yards in the second half -- and scored five touchdowns to lead Central Connecticut State (http://www.espn.com/college-football/team/_/id/2115/central-connecticut-blue-devils) to a 49-24 win (http://www.espn.com/college-football/recap?gameId=401030548) over Wagner (http://www.espn.com/college-football/team/_/id/2681/wagner-seahawks) on Saturday.
Dawson's 361 rushing yards set a Northeast Conference record and was the sixth most in a game in FCS history.
He scored the last four touchdowns of the game on runs between 45 and 60 yards to set the Division I mark for most rushing yards in a half -- FCS or FBS.
