Senior wide receiver Kelvin McKnight came to Samford with high expectations. He was heavily recruited out of Manatee High School in Florida. McKnight came to Samford after being recruited by, among others, Maryland, South Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida International and Appalachian State.
