Former Virginia high school offensive standouts Quintreil Chung, a James River High graduate from Midlothian, and Tyre Givers-Wilson, an Indian River High graduate from Hampton, now find themselves playing linebacker. Early in their Norfolk State careers, the pair could possibly have shared the backfield with Givers-Wilson at quarterback and Chung at running back. Now, the two share the field on defense and have greatly contributed to the No. 3 ranked defense in the conference.
