PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Marist men's rowing team opened its fall racing season last Saturday at the annual Navy Day Regatta in Philadelphia, PA. The Navy Day Regatta is a traditional "Head Race" Regatta held on the Schuylkill River in Philly each fall. Teams from around the northeast and mid-atlantic regions race down a roughly 4K Race course in a "Head Race" or time trial style format with the fastest time being the winner of the event. Marist entered 5 fours in the Collegiate Fours division, 2 eights in the collegiate eight division and 1 four in the freshman/novice fours division.
