Final

2 takeaways:
1) UNH is awful. Sorry. Really, really, really awful.
2) Stony Brook will have to play a whole lot better if they want to beat Rhode Island, JMU, or Delaware. It will help getting Gowins back. Not the most impressive 35-7 win to be honest.

Really depends on whether they will come back this season. Isn't Cheek lost for the season? I don't see how they can survive the rest of the CAA. If Gubrud can come back, I can see keeping them fairly high.

I was not aware of how bad it was as I did not see it, but if he is done for the season, then I can see people really dropping him. I thought Gubrud was going to return this season soon, but with EWU, all they do is recruit WRs who can run/catch and gunslingers who can throw 3000+ seasons.

A loss is a loss, but I see your point. Wofford and Elon lost too, but do they deserve a pass as well? Elon’s QB got hurt, but in my opinion EWU and Wofford should have the depth as highly as they were ranked. So, 3 top 10 teams lost. SOS doesn’t jack s*** of your backups can’t get the job done.

I believe they should drop. Elon was using their 3rd string QB as well IIRC. I also believe voters should use restraint in how far they fall. When a program loses a QB who can change the game, they shouldn't be heavily punished initially for losing if they can keep the game close and respectable. I believe both teams should remain in the T15 but I also believe 1 loss should not significantly drop a team especially if they are playing a T25 caliber team, IE, WSU and borderline Delaware.

Fifty-one (51) seconds left. Rhode Island has just gone up 36-35 on Maine, and is kicking off from the Maine 35 yard line due to two Main unsportsmanlike penalties!!! The Rhode Island players are dancing on the sidelines. So R.I. kicks off and kicks the ball through the goal post. I don't understand why they didn't try an onside kick or some type of squib kick instead of using NO time and giving Maine the ball on the 25-yard line.

The last couple of minutes of this game are quite interesting. Maine was called for two late hits on the RI QB to keep drives alive for the Rams. You can watch an "on demand" replay here: https://portal.stretchinternet.com/caa/portal.htm?eventId=470908&streamType=video

This game was as crazy as the Lamar/Incarnate Word game where LU blocked a field goal and ran it back for a TD as time expired. On the play before that, UIW had kicked a field goal which was no good, but LU had called a timeout just before the kick. It was looking bad as LU was now giving them another chance to make good on the FG, but fate had a different outcome. Was UIW looking ahead to next week's matchup with McNeese?

Yep, we led 19-16 when we got a pick 6 from WIU's 35 with 4:38 left in game. Then we stopped them on next series 4th and 14 from their 25, and worked the clock before taking it in for another score. We did move the ball well on ground in 1st half and finished with big advantage in first downs 22 to 9 .. but yards were close and so was score until the pick 6. Looking at WIU-NDSU stats made ISU's struggle against WIU defense a little easier to swallow in hindsight.
