I though I had heard sometime last year that Brown from Cal Poly could have been as high as a 3rd round pick. Doesn't look like he will be that high, but hopefully be drafted and hopefully shine.

I hope we have a good number of fcs players drafted this year... it is always good exposure for our level of football

Greg Fassitt, CB/Grambling St: Fassitt (5-11 5/8 189 pounds) ran a 4.36 forty, 6.98 3-cone, and 4.12 short shuttle. He also posted 16 bench reps, and had a vertical of 39” and a broad jump of 10’8”. He led Grambling last season with 13 passes broken up, and was second on the team with 3 interceptions. This kind of workout might move him into the draft.

Albany CB/S Rashad Barksdale has been called a sleeper-pick and after his pro day his stock went way up. I will try to find his numbers again and post them here for you. But he could end up drafted in the 6/7 round, I remember one mock draft had him going to Houston in the 7th that is the only one I remember

Article on Rashad Barksdale along with two other possible drafts picks from Albany.
http://www.timesunion.com/AspStories/story.asp?storyID=582431&category=SPORTS&newsdate=4/20/2007
Barksdale ran a 4.38 40 at the pro-day and the Cardinals graded him as a possible first-day pick. He only played one year of college ball after playing 4 seasons on the UAlbany baseball team.
Also getting interest are DE Andre Coleman and OT Jacob Hobbs.

Article on Yahoo sports about "High Rising Draft Prospects".
Includes Rashad Barksdale of Albany.

He was a projected as a high-round MLB draft pick before deciding to instead pursue playing football his senior year at Albany. His 60 time in baseball (equivalent to football's 40 time) was a time "reserved for first round picks".
