The Steel City hosted both conference games on the Week 6 slate. Bryant moved to 2-0 in NEC play by eking out a one-point win over Duquesne at Rooney Field while defending league champion Central Connecticut triumphed in its conference opener at Joe Walton Stadium. Sacred Heart nearly completed a remarkable come-from-behind victory, but fell to an Ivy League foe for the second week in a row.
