NEW YORK – After a nearly 60-minute defensive battle, No. 5 Princeton scored three times in the final 12:12 to come away with a 4-0 victory over the Columbia field hockey team. Reigning Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week Katie Demspey turned away a career-high 17 shots and the Lions (6-4, 2-1) made two more team defensive saves in a strong all-around effort from the backfield.
