APALACHIN, N.Y.—Columbia sophomore John Robertson was in the title chase until the very end and placed third after finishing with a four-under-par 69-71-140 Monday afternoon at the Matthews Auto Intercollegiate. Robertson, who finished one stroke out of first place, led the Columbia men's golf team to a fifth-place finish at the two-round, 36-hole event held at The Links at Hiawatha Landing and hosted by Binghamton.
