More than 160 middle schools, high schools, colleges, universities and professional track teams will take the field at Durley Sports Complex today on the campus of Texas Southern to compete in the 56th annual TSU Relays.

Competition begins at 9:30 a.m., with the college/university field events and preliminary running events.

High school field events and preliminary running events begin at 1:30 p.m. All throwing events will take place at Rice Stadium.

More than 2,000 athletes will compete at the TSU Relays, which run through Saturday.

Those that I recall from memory:

Of course there were more but can't recall right now.

Barton County

Barton County has quite the program from what I've gathered...

Which HS won the girls' title this year? I heard Lancaster (from Dallas) was in town. I'm sure they gave my Runnin' Rebels from Westbury a tough time...

Any new on the TxSo athletics situation? Haven't heard much from Austin re: TxSo at all...though this Angelo St to TxTech system is looking very intriguing...
