I am a little suprised to see Godfrey on that list for first team. He did not really have that impressive of a year last season. 697 yards and only 2 TDs averaging 55 yards a game. Hopefully he can have a break out season and help the offense a little. With the O-line we have it is possible.
Roberts was a shoe in. He is a flat out stud.

Only one person on the 1st team defense? Suprising with the number of players returning.

Godfrey was 2nd team SLC this past year and no one returned ahead of him on the first-team. I believe he was SLC first team the year before that, so he has the credentials and when all the folks graduate ahead of you, no questioning why he was there on the first-team.

Godfrey could use a little pub. He has been a very stable RB for us for 4 years. He has averaged 5.0+ yds per carry every year. He will be ready this year. He looked VERY good at the spring game.

Yes, Godfrey was 1st team All-SLC in 2003.

In a similar scenario, WR Chance Dennis didn't even play a down last year, but had a very good season in 2003.
