Portland State seeks to get the proverbial monkey off its back this Saturday when it opens at home against the College of Idaho. The Vikings haven't won a game since the 2016 season, but with home games against C of I and Montana State over the next two weeks they see an opportunity in a grueling start to the 2018 season.
