PINE BLUFF, Ark. - After a two hour weather delay, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions crushed Cumberland University 55-0 at Simmons Bank Field for head coach Cedric Thomas' first career victory. Junior quarterback Shannon Patrick finished the first half 10-for-11 with 227 yards and three touchdowns while junior wide receiver Josh Wilkes had six catches for 126 yards and two touchdowns in the opening half. The dynamic duo got things started off on the opening drive and connected on a 77-yard touchdown on the fourth play of the game as the Golden Lions never looked back and never trailed in the game. The win marks the first UAPB*victory ever at Simmons Bank Field.
