Lehigh, which received three rushing touchdowns from Preseason All-American Dom Bragalone, blocked Saint Francis' game-winning 38-yard field goal attempt to preserve a 21-19 lead with 00:45 remaining in regulation. With SFU trailing, 21-13, early in the fourth quarter, Da'Jon Lee's strip sack was recovered in the end zone for a Red Flash touchdown, but SFU could not convert on the ensuing two-point attempt.
