Better get this posted as there are Thursday night games this week.
Thursday August 30th
Bowie St. at Wagner – 6:00 p.m.
Central Conn. at Ball State – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday – September 1st
St. Francis at Lehigh – 12:30 p.m.
Robert Morris at Dayton – 2:00 p.m.
Lock Haven at Duquesne – 2:00 p.m.
New Haven at Bryant – 3:00 p.m.
Lafayette at Sacred Heart - 6:00 p.m.
Robert Morris kicks off the Bernard Clark era in Dayton on Saturday. Not quite sure what to expect from their offense, but their defense has been pretty good the last few years. Sacred Heart and StFU will try to take down Patriot League opponents while CCSU steps up to take on an FBS opponent for the second year in a row. Meanwhile, Wagner, Duquesne and Bryant all go the D-II route for this week’s games.
I’m a little nervous about my StFU choice, as I feel like they don’t play as well on grass, but I think I also read that Lehigh is only 4-8 in home openers under Andy Coen. Hopefully Lehigh doesn't spoil my trip to Bethlehem this weekend.
Last week - 1-0
Season Record - 1-0

Bryant-Still can't believe they have a n IPF new forming center, new turf, new lights, all in two years for an NEC team with a tiny stadium. Team on the rise.

I think they are eyeing up a CAA invitation.

I’m staying in the same hotel as the Bowie State Football team...I’m thinking Wagner could lose to a div2 team

Andy's seat may be a tad warm but it will take more than a L to SFU to make it hot. A losing season and another bottom feeding D would do the trick.

I saw the Bowie State football team at a NJ Turnpike Rest area this morning on my way up North for the UNH @ ME game. Judging by appearances I think Bowie needs to upgrade their nutrition and fitness programs - lot of Bowie state interest in Aunt Annie's Pretzels and Popeyes Chicken. Based on this I'm picking Wagner by 21 pts.

Bowie State is a pretty good D2 team - playoff caliber. CCSU beat them in back-to-back seasons recently, but they were both tough games.
9/17/2016 - CCSU 44, BSU 35
9/19/2015 - CCSU 21, BSU 14
Bowie State - 2017 and 2015 D-II Playoffs (First Round)

Wagner wins but gets out-gained by Bowie.... Bowie had a ton of penalty yards against them.

We beat Lehigh if the darn kicker doesn't slip like a cartoon character.
Just awful. The grass wasn't even wet. We can't rely on him. Go for the touchdown.
