For the first time in five years Furman heads into a season without an experienced quarterback in the fold — a void that has led to intense competition among a host of players vying to take over for graduated All-Southern Conference performer P.J. Blazejowski, who threw for 2,461 yards and 19 touchdowns in 2017 while also ranking second nationally in passing efficiency (172.3 rating).
