• Recorded 59 tackles with six sacks in 2017
• Helped Cocoa advance to the 2017 Class 4A State Championship title game
• Member of the 2016 Class 4A State Championship team
• Played for head coach John Wilkinson at Cocoa High School

My only thinking is he didn't meet the admission requirements for Fordham or their financial aid package didn't cover enough and he opted for CCU's aid package that lowered his out of pocket costs.

Probably and Fordham would have had to release him if he had signed an NLI.

Fordham Forum speculates they had to rerecruit him after new defensive coaches were hired this spring, the DB/Safeties Coach on April 9.
