It's gotta be a mistake. Can you play the same team twice in a season (not counting playoffs)?
EDIT: They haven't marked the NEC or homecoming games yet. I wonder if this is really finished. I also noticed that they played LaSalle at home last season on 9/23. I bet 9/22 is a mistake.

not to mention its a 12th game. At first I thought maybe they had it twice as the date wasnt finalized but one is listed as home the other away so i have no idea.

I sent an email off to the link on their site:
I noticed on your 2007 schedule that you're playing LaSalle twice this season. At home on 9/22 and away on 11/17. Is that correct? I saw that you played LaSalle at home last season on 9/23 and wonder if this was just a mistake.

Hope you can clear this up!

I go to SFU and all I can say is that I hope not.
This is sad, but we did play Liberty twice in basketball this year and they are out of conference. That was very odd, but football would be even worse. Especially with playing 12 games.

How do folks in your conference tell the two St. Franks apart when you're talking? It's easy enough when it's written St.Francis(PA) or St.Francis(NY) but you've got to have some nicknames or something, right?

Easy, just call 'm New York or Pennslyvania :)
Otherwise its the Flash (PA) or the Terriers (NY)

Yeah, but there are other sports. At least I've heard that said...

Wasn't there a team last year that or maybe two years ago that played two games in one day? I remember something weird like that, a spit squad or something.

It was some small college in Minnesota, played a home and an away game on the same day.

As far as I know it's legal. In the early 80's, Wofford played Furman twice (home-and-away). We won both games so that didn't last long:D

I believe the year after Boston U dropped football some Yankee Conference teams played home and homes.

Yes. 1998 National Champion UMass lost to UConn twice in the regular season. xeyebrowx
(and to Delaware too)

Yes, you can play the same team twice. In our National Championship year '98, we played UConn twice----and lost both by a total of four points.
That was because of the scheduling problems created when BU dropped football.

So playing a team twice in one year is ok, but apparently they've got 12 games and one of them isn't Hawaii.
