For those of you with brain cells that can still remember the late '60's, here's a flashback that's apropos--may have been a one hit single called "Tighten Up"--well with the Phillies sweep of the Padres today, Mets beating the Dodgers, Nats losing, again, and Braves on the way to losing to AZ, we could be in for a log "jam session" soon. Only three games separating Atl, Wash, Phil, and NY--even the Fish are only 5 back.

Yes--we were discussing the same proposition at the office today. It will be a shame if the divisions end up like their appearing to....

If the Braves would just win when the Nationals lose, and not do the same thing every day, then they would win the division. I know the Nats will fade, but this is getting annoying...for all of us Braves fans, that is.

For bringing up Archie Bell and the Drells you are hereby condemned to listen to the "Greatest Hits of the Archies" and to watch replays of 2000 Lehigh UD playoff game and the last 12 games of the 1964 Philadelphia Phillies baseball season. I had thought I had purged that song from my memory. Shame on you for resurrecting it. ;) :) ;) :)

For some godawful reason I still remember a good portion of the song--never figured out how to dance to it. :D

The Braves are starting to take control of the NL East. The Nats are fading faster than the memory of Sandra Day O'Connor, and the Phillies went 0-for-Houston again. Scheit!
