Very sad news.
From Rich Grant of the Colgate Football (Biddle Years) facebook page:
"Word reached me this earlier this morning that one of our brightest stars needs to enter our prayers. Jordan Scott ‘09 has passed away. Our all-time leading rusher and a Patriot League Champion. My love and prayers go out to his family and his teammates. As a Colgate football community, one of the things that inspires me is that if you have worn the helmet, we all are one. As we mourn, please give thanks for the memories we have built together and reach out to a teammate that has crossed your mind and catch up."
Such a young man, gone long before his time.
Note: Sorry for the typos on the thread title.

My Italian is limited to hand gestures, but apparently the article says it was a diving accident in Thailand.

Terrible news! A similar thing happened to a former Bucknell player around this time last year :(

A shout-out to Georgetown Coach Scarlata and Georgetown, who sent condolences to Coach Dan Hunt. Thank you, Hoyas. A class act all the way.

Apparently, he and some friends jumped into the water near a dam in Thailand. He never resurfaced. It took a few days to recovery his body (which they thankfully have). The GoFundMe page set up for his mother to bring him back to the United States has brought in more than twice the $16,000 goal. Any additional donations will go to scholarships in his name: https://www.gofundme.com/helpbringjordanhome
Jordan still holds the record for most rushing attempts in Division 1 history with 1,240 attempts. He ended his career with 5,621 yards rushing and 57 rushing touchdowns.
