Do you have the #s of head-to-head (by sport) matchups over the last 10 years or even last 5 years of the SLC vs SWAC?
I'm OVERLY curious now and don't have time to research due to a pending deadline date.
Thx.

Well, thankfully we all do. :twocents:
He's normally up on stuff like this pretty quickly. That's why I asked him specifically. Thanks for answering though. I guess.

Where? Who complained? I asked a question. You guys really need to stop seeing stuff that is "invisible" and not interjecting when your name isn't/wasn't called.
I didn't know TT's name was "89Hen."

My name isn't TT either, but if you wanted a private discussion with TT, then you should have PM'd TT.
Instead, you put the subject on a thread that is open to all AGS members. :twocents:
It will be interesting to see if TT decides to assist you in your time of need. :eyebrow:  xlolx

Got home from work around 6ish and have been dealing with customer service due to someone messing around with my passwords unexpectedly. I've got a fantasy draft to get ready for, they can't be doing this to me!
SWAC vs SLC, head to head...?
If you go search around, I've posted it before featuring VB, Softball, Baseball and I think the basketballs...

Precisely what I was looking for TT. Just didn't know where the information was readily as well as time not permitting me to research. If you could point me in the right direction, I'd certainly appreciate it.
No alterior motive TT. Just want to show quite a few how much the SWAC has dropped off as of late. (<10 yrs)

I'm curious? According to my calculations the SLC has lost 32 games (& a tie) to the SWAC yet the only team that is mentioned, as losing, is SFA. Why is it we get singled out as the only one worthy of mentioning. I guess it's because it was so rare? Must be some "Plotshot!"

I'm amazed that he has a job. I know that in the six months I have been a member I've made 145 posting which, with my job, I thought was a lot. Since he's been a member he is averaging 2857 postings per year or 1428 every six months or 238 a month or around 7.5 each day. I wish I had his job & could make 8571 postings. Knowing how sensitive you are peewee, this isn't a slam, it's just a "WOW, that's a lot."::eek:

what about the wins Grambling had against Nicholls and NWst?
The only meeting I found between Grambling and Northwestern St. was in 1974, when Grambling won 14-13. Northwestern was a member of the Gulf South Conference at the time.
Interestingly, Northwestern was 1-10 in 1974, while Grambling was 11-1.
Grambling's 37-28 win in 2001 was the last meeting between the Tigers and Colonels. Grambling was 10-1 and Nicholls was 3-8 in 01. It's also the most recent win by the SWAC over the Southland.
In 1982, 8-3 Grambling downed 7-4 Nicholls 33-15. The Colonels were independent at the time.
I guess there are two ways to answer the original question:
Meetings while the teams were in their respective conferences.
OR
Meetings between current SWAC and current SLC members.
Give me a little while and I'll answer both.....

SLC and SWAC need to play more often so we all avoid getting stuck with these sub-Div I games due to FCS schools around the nation messing up our schedule (thanks Missouri St!)...it would go a long way in helping SLC get closer to playoff-eligible with seven Div I wins...:)

what about the wins Grambling had against Nicholls and NWst?
Those were before we joined the Southland....
Grambling beat us 14-13 in 1974 :o ....We didn't join the Southland until 1987.
Also, Grambling also beat Nichollis State 33-15 in 1982. But Nichollis didn't join the Southland until 1992.....
The wins count on record....but not against us as Southland Conference Members. Therefore, I did not list them. Nothing against the SWAC.
There may be a few other SWAC vs Southland matchups not included in that list.....I just listed the ones played as the teams were members of their respective conferences....(Also, to the person who took the time to look up he past 10 years...thanks...I was gonna do that BUT as I mentioned in my other post...I had no time because I was getting fussed at)
I need a job....
