Go Ladies GO!

Based on these, it appears that we may see up to 9 to 10 FCS schools in the Women's Dance.

Good luck to all that make it from FCS.

JMU, Del, Montana appear to have chances to make a round or two.

While not eligible for the NCAA's, Lady Jacks have completed a 23-5 regular season, and are looking to be a highly seeded WNIT team. :smiley_wi

Anybody else tracking these women teams? I'd love to hear or see how the women's conference tourneys go, so can better bracket the WNIT also!

I'm rooting for all of those FCS teams as well as the NC State Wolfpack and Kay Yow. If anyone's been following the story, its pretty heart-warming.

Yes it is, but they got hosed. They can beat anyone in that tourney and they proved it by smacking down Dook. That said, they have a tough bracket to get to the Sweet 16. Wasn't Baylor in the Final 4 last year? and then Tennessee? Thats a tough road!

I love Duke and everything involved including womens basketball... I was at the ACC tournament in greensboro when they got beat by a determined state team that was going to win that game no matter what for coach kay yow... I still think duke has a shot to win it all but i am now thinking final four material but no more than that what do you all think for duke?

Anybody have a likely Cinderella team? My Cinderella pick is Middle TN St. :hurray: :hurray: Only three losses (Maryland, SDSU, TN) and haven't lost since Nov. 25. Swept a tough Sunbelt, including tourney. The SDSU loss came only 4 days after losing a 4 point game to Maryland, and was the 1st game for the Jacks/second for MTSU. I think a rematch would be really a tough game for these two outstanding programs.

Having lived in Nashville for four years, I am well aware of the MTSU team. The coach has been there for 2 years - he was the head coach at Shelbyville (TN) high school, where he won many state and national titles, and churned out D-I players every year.

The way they have it setup, how crazy would it be to see 4 ACC teams in the Final 4. It's not out of the realm of possibility. I think the top 4 in the ACC can beat anybody on any day

I agree though it may be a slight stretch to get four... but any combo of 3 of the four would be pretty awesome and i would be surprised if 2 of 4 made it... likelyhood IMO Duke, Maryland, UNC, NCST
