PHILADELPHIA - Friday afternoon, the University of Pennsylvania baseball program earned five major individual distinctions from the Ivy League, as freshman Eduardo Malinowski, sophomore Peter Matt and juniors Matt McGeagh and Sean Phelan were named All-Ivy selections following their strong performances on the diamond this season. Malinowski -- the freshman phenom out of Spring, Texas -- headlined the four-man group, capturing Rookie of the Year honors after a season where he led the league in both batting average (.347) and total hits (59).
