FWIW I believe the official AGS countdown thread starts in 6 days (100 days form the 1 September kickoff).

Obviously if your seasons starts earlier than you are welcome to post as you see fit.

My man, the countdown that all places do actually began on AGS back in the early 2000's and I appreciate your bringing this up. We have a very coordinated way of doing the countdown and it is led by our friend Tribe4sf who will start the thread by noon ET each day, and if not him then bonarae will do it but in any case it opens up to anyone to start that day's thread after 1p ET in the case that neither of them get it done by then.

It is done this way because I don't like having to corral many threads with "99 days" and so forth as it is just a disorganized and confusing mess with a good deal of people doing their own thing. I thing The AGS countdown does not start until the normal start of the season for the majority of teams. We've had a debate before many times with people that have a team start early but this does not matter. We run it based on our own start date with zero day being the standard opening day.

So, I could have just pm'd you but I want to use this post as a learning tool for anyone else that is new around here at this time and I thank you for the opportunity.

I am going to change the title of this thread and if you want to you are welcome to post up the players under this thread until the actual AGS countdown begins but at that time they go in that thread.xthumbsupx

This was the note sent to me May 1st from Tribe relating this as the date and I would like all of you to hold off until this time and put your players up at this time and on this schedule.


Will kick this off with Day 100 on May 24 making Sept. 1 Day Zero. Bonarae has agreed to have my back.

BTW, to all that don't know we start with Day 100 and countdown as the 100 day is for the coaches, staff, etc.
