PHILADELPHIA - Despite holding a substantial lead nearly the entire game, Penn (12-21-1, 6-8-1 Ivy) suffered a late collapse as Cornell (8-17-1, 4-8 Ivy) drove in a combined seven runs across the seventh and eighth frames to clinch the series. The Quakers' offense put together a quick 3-0 advantage off the bat of freshman Eduardo Malinowski -- back-to-back home runs, the first of his career, and three RBIs -- but a late surge from the Big Red overwhelmed the Penn relievers over the final three innings.
