The Sycamores were in the hunt at the 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Championship as the tightly contested tournament proved to have a small gap between the winners and eighth place. The event was held in a variety of weather conditions at the Sand Creek Station Golf Club just outside of Wichita over a par-72, 6,018-yard layout and was hosted by Missouri State.
