For the first time in the five-year history of the ISU Spring Invitational, the Sycamores did not receive the team championship trophy following the event. The first visiting team to win the event proved to be Loyola after the Ramblers came out on top of a five-way dog fight over the final nine holes of play to win. The event was held at the par-72, 6,041-yard layout of The Country Club of Terre Haute.
