I dont do the brackets for a few reasons, I never want to cheer for a team that I hate i.e. Florida, Notre Dame. Second, I could never pick against UNC, because I am a fan. I pick round by round, and the upset of the first round is Oral Roberts beating Wazzu. Caleb Green is a beast!

I have Pitt, A&M, Florida, and Vandy in my Final Four. A good mix of expected, unsurprising, and surprising.

Do you know when a team that had never even been to the Final Four last won the NCAA championship on its first trip there? Pitt, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt have NEVER been on that stage before. No. 1 seeds don't win all that often, but programs that don't have Final Four tradition don't often win either.

Trivia answer: Texas Western (now UTEP) won the 1966 NCAA championship.

I can do no better than tie for the title. In order for that to happen all of these must occur.

Florida needs to beat Georgetown in the Final.
Tennessee and UCLA have to be the other two Final Four teams
Texas A&M needs to beat Memphis in the Sweet 16
Oregon needs to beat UNLV
Kansas needs to beat Southern Illinois
USC needs to beat UNCIn other words, I need to have all 15 games go a specific way in order for me to tie. Any one game goes the other way and its all over.

If I was talking about a coin flip, I'd have a 1 in 32,768 chance. Even assuming the favorites have a slight edge, its still about 1 in 20,000.

I'm not exactly calling Vegas :D

Incredibly, I'm still alive, mostly because I picked Georgetown to win it all over Kansas.

I thought I was done when Louisville lost to TAMU (I had them in my Final Four). They were so close to pulling off the "upset". I think UNLV's win over Wisconsin really really saved me as well.

Am I dependent on Tennessee making the Final Four in order to win? It's not clear to me, even with the scenario generator.
