Sophomore Lauren Comegys carded a 1-over 73 on Sunday afternoon, leading the way for the James Madison women's golf team on the first day of competition at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate, hosted by Appalachian State at the par-72, 6,077-yard Mimosa Hills Country Club.
