The Norfolk State football team is nearing the halfway point of its spring practice schedule. The Spartans have used seven of their allotted 15 scrimmages to date, and just conducted their first intrasquad scrimmage of the spring, a session which head coach Latrell Scott called one of the cleanest early-spring scrimmages of his tenure.
