PROVIDENCE, R.I. - After inclement weather forced a venue change for the three-game weekend series, Penn (4-13, 0-2 Ivy) faltered in its pair of Ivy League openers at Brown (6-7, 2-0 Ivy), dropping the first matchup via extra innings, 7-6, before suffering a 4-1 decision in game two. The Quakers' pitching rotation worked well through both games, initially leaning on the sophomore duo of Mitchell Holcomb and Christian Scafidi in game one before turning to senior Gabe Kleiman and sophomore Dylan Mulvihill in the second matchup. On the day, the pitching quartet surrendered just four earned runs, striking out 15 along the way, as a majority of the Bears' scoring came off fielding errors.
